About Chabot TV

Chabot TV Community Television is a non-profit Public-access television, Educational-access television and Government-access television (PEG) television channel serving the East Bay area. The cities include Alameda, San Leandro, Hayward and Fremont. The station operates channels 27, 28 and 29 (Fremont only) on the Comcast System and AT&T U-Verse on 99. It cablecasts to 68,000 households representing a population of nearly 200,000 people.

About Community Television
The mission of Community Television is to foster community dialogue and individual self-expression through television, the internet, and other electronic media.

What Is Community Access TV?
Public, educational and government access television is a form of non-commercial mass media where ordinary people can create content which can be viewed through cable TV systems. Standard public-access television is often grouped with Educational-access television and Government-access television (GATV) channels, by the acronym PEG. PEG Channels are typically only available on cable television systems.

Submit A Video Program
Any resident of Alameda County can submit a video program to play on our public access channel. Programs do not have to be produced using our equipment but you must be a resident of Alameda County to submit. To submit a program please email us today.
